Bidarakatte
Bidarakatte is a beautiful, Well maintained hillock in the Savandurga forest region, Located right next to the Savandurga hill. Bidarakatte means “An Elevated space with Wild Bamboo”. One has to book a ticket from the Forest Department in advance and go for this hike
Channarayanadurga
Channarayanadurga is a multi level fort exploration trek. Located in Tumkur near Madhugiri, is a 17th century historic fort. We experience rocky terrain, fort ruins, and stunning countryside views from the summit. The trek involves climbing over steep, rocky slopes with a gradual ascent to the fort.
Gudibande fort
Gudibande is a town in Chikkaballapur District in Karnataka. Gudibande Fort was built by a yogi and a local chieftain called Byre Gowda some 400 odd years ago in the 17th century. It was believed that he belonged to the Tuluva dynasty of the Vijayanagar empire.
Harihara Betta
Harihara Betta Trek is situated right off the Bangalore-Hyderabad highway and is located in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka. It’s a short easy hike to the top. It starts with a rough road till about 25% of the trek where we reach a temple
Hulkudi Betta
Hulkudi Betta is a hillock located about 70km from Bangalore in Doddaballapur. There’s a Shiva temple located at the base and in between.
Kabbaladurga
Kabbaladurga trek, in Kanakpura, is one of the most scenic and adventure packed treks around Bengaluru. The trek starts with steps and then goes on for about 500m with a slightly steep constant incline. Followed by some adventurous rocky terrain, slippery boulders and mud pathways.
Kaiwara Betta
Located in Chintamani, Chikkaballapur this is one of the most breathtaking trails to witness the Sunrise. Best done from October to March, avoiding the monsoons. This trek is under the Forest department and one has to book a slot at least 48hrs in advance to go here.
Karadi Betta
Bananthi Mari betta is located near Kanakpura about 60km from Bangalore.
The trek starts from a small Bananthamma temple with a tiny Kalyani surrounded by lots of monkeys. The beginning is easy with a muddy trail for about 1.5km. The last 500m is an inclined walk over a boulder.
Kunagalu Betta
One of the most rewarding treks around Bengaluru. Located just about 60kms away, this trek is perfect for beginners and advanced trekkers alike. This is one of the rare treks where a short hike of 2km will give you breathtaking 360 degree views of Ramanagara and Bengaluru.
Madhugiri fort
Madhugiri fort trek is is trekking to the peak of Asias second largest Monolith. The trek will take you through a variety of historical structures. We cross around 3 gateways or walls of defence, each of which seems like the end, But it’s NOT. We get to explore Fort ruins, various strategic view points and much more.
Makalidurga
Makalidurga trek is located in the town of Makali about 60 km north of Bangalore. Makalidurga Fort remains at the head of a large granite hillock, clustered up in the chains of slopes. There’s a well marked trail that takes you to the top.
Muthurayana Betta
Muthurayana Betta is a small Hillock located in Kanakpura near Ravgodlu. We pass by a small village and at it’s end we stop our vehicles. There’s a well made road that goes all the from the parking till the top. This is more like a nature walk.
Uttari Betta
A fort hillock located 80km from Bangalore near Kunigal. It offers unique scenic views similar to western ghats. The trek starts from a small village, entering the fort wall and passes through seven doors of stone to reach the halfway point of the hike which has a temple of Shankareswar at the top.
YS. Betta
YS.Betta is a small unknown hillock in Ramanagara. An arch welcomes you with steps carved in stone. After about 500m we cross a pond where you can see the locals washing clothes or swimming. The locals come here for religious purposes.
