Bidarakatte

Bidarakatte is a beautiful, Well maintained hillock in the Savandurga forest region, Located right next to the Savandurga hill. Bidarakatte means “An Elevated space with Wild Bamboo”. One has to book a ticket from the Forest Department in advance and go for this hike. A short easy trail with several ponds and open spaces to explore. The trek starts from a forest department office. We pass by a children’s park and then a slightly inclined boulder climb of about 500m takes us to the top. We pass by several small ponds on this trek. Watch our for migratory birds and snakes along the trail. Lots of places to explore here. From an ancient temple to fort ruins to ponds and flat ground for kids to run around. Perfect for a day outing with kids.

FIRST Pick up – Start at 5.00 am
Reach Bidarakatte by 7.00 am
Start trek approx 1.5 hours upto the top.
Spend leisure time exploring and taking pics. Have breakfast on top or on the way. Will be decide depending on group size.
Start return down by 11.00 am.
Reach down by 12 noon.
Reach Bengaluru by 2pm.
