Kurinjal Peak Trek

The Kurinjal peak trek is one of the most scenis treks in the Western Ghats. It is located in Karnataka’s Chikmagalur district, within the Kudremukh forest range. The trek takes you through dense forests, Flowing rivers, rocky pathways, grassland and a short steep tough climb over some rocks takes you to the peak, offering stunning views of the surrounding Western Ghats. The trail is for the adventurous and the fit nature lovers. One can catch a glimpse of green peaks and mystic valleys as far as the eyes can go. We get a chance to enjoy a packed lunch sitting among the floating clouds at the peak. Best to trek in the light monsoons from September to early January. One has to register and book slots for this trek in advance from the forest department and then go.
