Ranipuram & Bekal

The Ranipuram Trek is an offbeat Trek which takes you through tranquil Dense Forest, Spice plantations and pristine beauty of Ranipuram.

Located near Kasargod, Karnataka and Kerala border at around 330km from Bengaluru.
It’s an Moderate level trail of 3.5km to reach the top at an elevation of about 750m above sea level. We traverse through Lush greenery, Mossy forests, Small streams, Vast grasslands, small boulder incline walks in between and some easy pathways too. At the top we get a chance to sit among the clouds and get blown away by the crazy wind.

The next day We explore the Bekal Fort. Known for its majestic panoramic views of the Sea. It’s the largest fort in Kerala, known for the Keyhole design and spread across 40acres.

Day 0 – Assembly at 9:30pm and Overnight journey towards homestay.

Day 1 –
Reach Homestay around 4am. Check in and freshen up, relax for a while.
Have breakfast and proceed for the Ranipuram Trek. Leave HOmestay by 7:30am. Reach base by 8:30am. Carry along a packed Lunch. Start trek by 9am. Reach the peak by 11:30am. Explore around. Have our packed lunch. Spend some time enjoying the view and start return by 12noon. Reach base by 2pm. Return to Hoomestay. Head to the nearby waterfalls. Spend some time enjoying there and return to Homestay for Campfire, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 –
After breakfast proceed to Bekal fort at 7am. Reach Bekal by 8:30am. Spend time exploring till 10:30am. Return to Homestay for lunch. Pack up and start Return journey towards Bengaluru. Leave by 1pm.
Reach Bengaluru by 11pm.
We can stop for a self sponsored tea break and dinner.
