Gangadikal
The Gangadikal trek is a hidden gem in the Western Ghats. It’s one of the most Scenic and relatively easy 2-day trek in Karnataka’s Chikmagalur district, located within the Kudremukh forest range. The trek takes you through lush forests, rolling grasslands and a beautiful ridge to Gangadikal Peak, offering stunning views of the surrounding Western Ghats. The trail is ideal for beginners and nature lovers. One can catch a glimpse of green peaks and mystic valleys as far as the eyes can go. We get a chance to enjoy a packed lunch sitting among the floating clouds at the peak. Best to trek in the light monsoons from September to early January. One has to register and book slots for this trek in advance from the forest department and then go.
