Kunagalu Betta

One of the most rewarding treks around Bengaluru. Located just about 60kms away, this trek is perfect for beginners and advanced trekkers alike. This is one of the rare treks where a short hike of 2km will give you breathtaking 360 degree views of Ramanagara and Bengaluru. We park near the Ganesha idol and start the trek. The trail starts with a well defined path. after about 75% of the trek we reach a huge Nandi which is perfect for a short break before we encounter the tough part of the trek. After the Nandi we pass by a surprise cave like formation and a short steep walk takes us to the slightly scary carved steps. Gathering all our courage we climb up the stone steps to reach temple. Another 100m away across some loosely stacked stoas, is the Final Gazebo viewpoint. One can relax here and enjoy food and snacks, Of course without littering! Crazy winds and beautiful green views make the whole trek worth it!
