YS.Betta

YS.Betta is a small unknown hillock in Ramanagara. An arch welcomes you with steps carved in stone. After about 500m we cross a pond where you can see the locals washing clothes or swimming. The locals come here for religious purposes. They carry food to the top or sometimes they carry ingredients to the top and cook it there and have a gathering there. There’s a vast open space on top but not many trees so it’s best to go early in the day to avoid the harsh sun. One can see the famous Thimmapana betta or the twin rocks from here.
